Short Comment : The third anime which is based on one of the famous Girl Game Series, 'Dacapo' Series. While the former two anime series were consisted in 26 episodes, this one is planning to make only 13 episodes. The former two series, 'D.C. ~Dacapo~' and 'D.C. ~Dacapo~ Second Season', were quite good as a Girl-Game-Based anime. As the former two, D.C. II is also a love story in the town where 'the never-falling' cherry blossom exists, but it is about 60 years after from the former two, so you don't need to watch the former series to understand the anime.
There are quite noticeable Voice Actor in this anime, Yui Horie as Yume Asakura, Minori Chihara as Nanaka Shirakawa, Yukari Tamura as Sakura Yoshino(the only character from the former series).

Short Comment : This seems to be the first time where kendo becomes the topic of sports anime. Usually, sports animes concentrated on so-called man's sport, so they emphasizes 'spirit' or 'enthusiasm'. However, this anime takes 'girl's kendo team' as a topic so its emphasis seems to be quite far from 'spirit' or 'enthusiasm'. While not losing the comedy part of sports anime, Bamboo Blade will show some new type of sport anime.

Short Comment : These days, lots of 4-cut animes are made into anime. Since this is a story about Highschool Art Club students, it is similar to 'Hidamari Sketch'. However, the production is HAL Film, which has shown its potential in so-called 'curing-atmosphere anime' by 'ARIA' series, we can expect quite good quality. If you like anime like 'ARIA' or 'Hidamari Sketch', you should watch this.

Short Comment : The original TRPG game is on active media-mix: a manga based on the game, a novel based on the game, and internet radio braodcast, etc. It has been a long time since HAL film made action anime, but it seems to be quite interesting. I would say Yuuko Gotou's debut as a villain's role is pretty impressive.

Short Comment : So so. A demon who lives on mysteries as his food comes to the human world and let a highschool girl pretend as a detective(he do all the detective things and the girl just says what he says). The trick in the first episode was not that impressive. We should notice that the most mass-produced genre in Japan is mystery genre, and that means there are tons of stuffs in Japan which has the same quality as this one. I would not say this anime is bad, but I can't find anywhere good.

Short Comment : Another mixture of fantasy and mystery on the same day. I would say this is a little bit better than 'Majin Tantei...'. Based on the background that Tyoko lost its function as a capital because of earthquake, the anime deals with so-called 'Illusive Dream Cases' which seems to be related to occult stuff. As I wrote on the genre, this seems to emphasize more on fantasy; it seems to be less related to trick or mental stuff. I personally like Studio Deen's animes so I'm still expecting on this anime.

Short Comment : Traditionally, Japanese people have believed that we are coexisting with ghosts and that ghosts are dwelling in everything and everywhere. However, different from normal animes which deals with ghost, this anime does not have a theme of 'exosist' but has a theme of 'coexistence'. It is a story of two sisters(the younger one attracts ghosts and the older one can see those) who tries to deal with the ghosts. The atmosphere of this anime is quite mild.

Short Comment : The director of this anime is Masahiko Ookura, who is famous as a director of 'Battle Fairy Yukikaze'. The anime is not actually based on the background of the original work, so the story will be anime's original story. I can't say what exactly this anime is about with the 1st episode. The introduction on this anime says that this is a story of girls who fight against the aliens. However, the drawings and CG of the anime is quite good.

Short Comment : This is quite interesting case in Girl-Game-Based anime because the original game isn't on sale yet. So the anime comes out first and the game will be released on november. There are quite skeptic view on this trial, but considering that in most cases the people who plays the game first does not like the anime, this seems to be a good trial. The good point of this way is that people can watch the anime without the prejudice which is constructed by the original game(for example, in game you liked one of the heroine character very much but her role was not much in the anime, etc.). Since we don't know what the game look like, I can't say more than that this is a love story.

Short Comment : Well, this seems to be a mixture of every 'formulatic' stuffs in love comedy which most of you are quite fed up with little spice of some fantasy settings. Well, I still like such 'formula' anime. It seems to be the only anime of this season with 'service scenes'. A love story between a girl who has extreme 'male-phobia' and quite interesting ability(I will not spoil this) and a boy who is physically well-trained and not interested in girls that much.

Short Comment : The main reasons I'm highly expecting on the anime are that GONZO, which is famous for its high quality of 3D Effect, is participating, that the background seems to be similar to 'Kiddy Grade' which I liked very much, and that the list of voice actors of this anime is fantastic(Minori Chihara(Yuki Nagato in 'Suzumiya Haruhi...'), Yuuko Gotou(Mikuru Asahina in 'Suzumiya Haruhi...'), Nana Mizuki(Fate T. Haraoun in 'Lyrical Nanoha Series'), Aya Hirano(Suzumiya Haruhi in 'Suzumiya Haruhi...' and Konata in 'Lucky☆Star'), Miyuki Sawashiro(Shinku in 'Rozen Maiden Series'), Tomokazu Sugita(Kyon in 'Suzumiya...' and Yuichi Aizawa in 'Kanon(Remake)'), Daisuke Ono(Itsuki Koizumi in 'Suzumiya...'), these are my favorite and other voice actors are all A-rank voice actors.)
The anime is has a background of a close-future world where the impact of an asteroid is foresighted, and deals with a bio-weapon called 'Dragon' and the pilot of it, 'Dragonaut'. As most of mechanic action animes do, this will also deal with action stuffs and mental growth of the main character.

Short Comment : 'Production by Kyoto Animation'. And we don't need any other words other than this. This is based on one of the most popular Girl Game by KEY, which is famous for AIR and Kanon. The combination of KEY's original work and Kyoto Anime's direction and drawings has always shown fantastic result. If you have seens AIR(TV series) and Kanon(Remake version of 2007), you would not want to miss this.

Short Comment : It is certainly a famous anime series, and this is the third TV series of this anime. I didn't watch the old ones, though. The production is still Studio Deen and the list of voice actors didn't changed a bit, so people who liked this anime would certainly welcome this one. I'm not sure people who didn't see the former series can enjoy this, but since this is an action anime you would not need any beforehand knowledge for this one.

Short Comment : I liked the first season of this anime. It has quite interesting fantastic setting. In Japanese anime, it is not an unusual thing to mix fantasy genre and school story genre, but Shana seems to be the current leader in this mixture. Production staff and the list of voice actors didn't changed so we can expect the same or better quality than the first season.

Short Comment : I like the drawings of PEACH-PIT, and it seems to be well-realized in the anime. The original manga and anime are targetted for preteenage girls, but they seem to be also attractive to fan of this genre or fan of PEACH-PIT. Amu, a girl who struggles with the difference between her 'outer' character and 'inner' character, gets help from three 'Shugo Chara's and little by little finds her real 'character'.

Short Comment : Opening animation by the director Shinkai Makato. Actually the second part of the game is not released yet. So, this anime is kind of 'in between' the two parts of the game. Since game itself has different protagonists for the different scenario, we don't know which route will the production would take. However, some people assesses that the anime could not overcome the boredness of the original game. But, Shaft's characteristic style, its original way of direction, is the very attractive point in this anime.

Short Comment : Story of Itsuki who suddenly succeeded the owner of the company 'Astral' which rents magicians to people. Along with this story, the anime shows various kinds of magic such as spirit magic, celtic magic, Yin and Yang, Shin-do, etc. The production is quite gorgeous, and list of voice actor is also good.

Short Comment : Showing the day life of three sisters in Minami family. The anime gives a comforting smile by depicting the naive day life of three sisters with there own characteristic. Actually, the another series is planned to be broadcasted on Jan. 2008. by another production. It would be interesting to compare these two.

Short Comment : The original author is the author of Full Metal Alchemist. Different from Hagaren which has Western background, this one based on East Asian background. You would feel some familiarity on characters. The anime depicts the battle for the conquerer's sword 'Genkaranmu', between the two legendary heroic existences, Fagoon(Taito, the protagonist) and Tonro(Keiro).

Short Comment : Anime about 'Otaku'. The first season and OVA got pretty nice assessments. If you're interesting what Japanese Otakus do, this is a good thing to see.

Short Comment : If you're a fan of 'Ghost in the Shell' you should not miss this. Masamune Shiro and Production I.G. have met again. This is a commemorative anime of the 20-th aniversery of Production I.G. Base plot is from Masamune Shiro's planning in 1987. This is a story of 3 boys who can see the world of ghost. 3 boys seem to have no connection, but they all were related in a kidnap case happened 11 years ago.
