Introduction
18 years ago an anime series came and revolutionized the industry. With believable characters and astounding mecha designs, Macross paved a path for all future anime productions. In 1995 the creators of the original Macross came together again and produced the TV series Macross7. Followed shortly by the release of 3 OAV shorts, 1 movie release, and more recently the 4 part OVA continuation "Dynamite". The TV series prologue follows:
AD 2009 - The human race first encountered an alien race, the Space War which followed with this race of giants, known as the Zentraedi, nearly devastated the Earth.
March, 2010 - The war ended. In April of that same year a new United Earth government was inaugurated and humans began to follow the path of coexistance with the alien Zentraedi who wished to use miclone technology to return their bodies to human size.
September, 2011 - The Earth UN Government launched a deep space colonization plan for the purpose of preserving the species.
September, 2012 - The extremely long-range capability transport "Megaroad One" set out, carrying the first colonists.
September, 2030 - The giagantic Megalord-class ships were replaced by the first of the new super high-capacity Macross class colonization ships, whose fleets were capable of carrying up to one million colonists.
2038- The Macross Seven fleet, built around the seventh of the new Macross-class ships, left for the galactic core carrying the 37th wave of colonists.
The year is now 2045, with Mylene Jenius, the seventh daughter of ace pilots Max Jenius and Milia Farina from the Great Space War against the Zentradi, Nekki Basara and the crew of the Macross7 must face a new threat.
