The 1994 Constitution was obviously written by a non-native English speaker, and meetings were monthly, with the final two being set aside for the officer election process, so it would make sense to start in Winter quarter and have 4 club meetings before officer elections. ~ Sushu

That's odd, I thought Ed was from the Chicago suburbs. =) As for the officer election process, throughout the first 3 dynasties, there weren't elections really. The head honcho role was pretty much just passed down and then the new guy would recruit people to help if needed. At least that's what I did. Since it was the very beginning with not that many members it was a quick and easy way to run things. ~ Ben
