Also known as the Anime Library Firebombing,

Aza needed to transfer his library to Alexis' apartment, so he got them off of his high shelf and put them into about a dozen boxes. Instead of taking 4 trips down the stairs, however, Aza decided that it would be much more efficient to run a kite string from the third floor balcony to the ground, put the tapes in bags, and letting the bags slide down the string. Infallible Physics Logic says it would work, right? Except that the handles of the bag broke mid-way, and so the tapes fell from extensive height onto the ground. Undeterred, Aza then tried putting duct tape around the bag handles. Clunk. Then a plastic bucket. Clunk. By then half the anime tapes are in a post-Apocalyptic pile in the courtyard. Oops. It turns out that the heat friction caused by the kite string strung between the third floor and the courtyard ate through EVERYTHING.

Isaac spent the summer fixing anime tapes, developing a deep relationship with the tapes that lead him to his librarian post.
